Cocoateam is a Bordeaux-based company, specialised in the supply of fine cocoa beans, raw materials, and equipment for Bean to Bar chocolate makers (From bean to Bar).

Trading in exceptional cocoa beans for four generations, we select the best products from a reasoned culture, respectful of the environment and people.

As with wine, each terroir has unique organoleptic properties. We offer beans from multiple origins so that each chocolate maker can express his own sensitivity and thus offer the end consumer a range of chocolate tastes and flavors.

Cocoateam is the result of a meeting between three cocoa traders who wanted to make the supply of fine quality cocoa beans accessible to all.

They shared the observation that only a handful of manufacturers had access to a range of beans from around the world.

In fact, trading in cocoa beans is a complex business that requires significant financial, human and logistical resources. Cocoateam aims to be the link between our customers and producers around the world.

Cocoateam vocation is to supply our Chocolate makers and Bean to Bar customers to very similar conditions to those enjoyed by industrial chocolate manufacturers in terms of price, service and responsiveness.

We are able to deliver a pallet of 8 different origins in front of your shop next week!

We are fully aware of the challenges to be taken up in the cocoa sector such as the remediation of child labor, the fight against deforestation and the improvement of the living conditions of producers. This is why we put forward the women and men who produce quality cocoa that respects our environment.

A team in the field

Constantly in search of new origins, our selection is constantly evolving.

Our teams have strived for many years to forge special relationships with growers and players in the cocoa sector.

The quality of a cocoa bean is of course linked to its variety, its terroir, but also and above all to the way it has been treated after harvest. (Fermentation, drying, storage).

Today, planters and producers need to be supported, trained and of course, valued in their work through remuneration enabling them to provide a decent living for their families and through environmental protection programs.

We believe that raising the standard of living of cocoa farmers while preserving their natural resources is beneficial to all actors in the sector, which has a positive impact on the quality of the beans.

Our ambition is to offer chocolate makers the best products with a reasoned culture, respectful of the environment and people.
